Refund Policy

Credits should feel low-risk. Unused credits are refundable for 14 days; ones you've spent on a look aren't. Here's exactly how that works.

The short version

You can get a full refund on unused credits within 14 days of buying them. Once credits have been spent to render a look, they have been used and aren’t refundable. That’s it.

This policy sits alongside your rights under applicable consumer law — it doesn’t take anything away from them.

14-day cooling-off

Under applicable consumer law you have a 14-day cooling-off period after buying credits. If you change your mind within those 14 days and haven’t spent the credits, email us and we’ll refund the purchase in full.

If you’ve used some but not all of a pack, we’ll refund the value of the credits you haven’t used, calculated at the price you paid per credit.

Once credits are spent

Rendering a look delivers the digital service immediately and consumes the credits. Spent credits can’t be refunded, because the work has already been done — you asked for a look and received one. If a render genuinely failed and still took credits, that’s a fault, not a usage; tell us and we’ll put it right.

How to request a refund

Email support@encore.style from the address on your account and include:

  • the email you signed up with;
  • roughly when you bought the credits;
  • a line on why you’d like a refund (a one-liner is fine).

You don’t need a special form or a reason that satisfies us — within the cooling-off window, changing your mind is enough.

How long it takes

We’ll acknowledge your request quickly and process eligible refunds within 14 days of agreeing them. Refunds go back to your original payment method via our payment partner; how soon it lands depends on your bank or card provider.

Refunds that happen on their own

You don’t have to ask for these — the credit comes back by itself:

  • A look that never finished. If you close the tab, lose signal or navigate away while a look is rendering, the credit returns to your balance. encore notices within about a minute, and checks again next time you open the fitting room, so a credit can’t quietly go missing.
  • A look that completed anyway. If the render finished while you were away it’s waiting in your history and is charged as normal. We won’t refund a look you can open and download — but we’d rather return a credit you were owed than keep one you weren’t.
  • A stylist review you cancel in time. The 20 credits reserved for a review come back in full if you cancel before a stylist has picked it up. Cancelling twice can’t credit you twice.

A credit is held while a look renders rather than taken, and only becomes a charge when an image comes back. That is why your available balance can read lower than your total for a few seconds, and why a failed render can never charge you twice — a hold either settles once or is released once.

What isn't refundable

Credits already spent on a delivered look aren’t refundable — the render exists and is yours to keep and download. The free credit every new account receives has no cash value and isn’t refundable either, though it is exactly why you can try encore before spending anything.

Credits don’t expire and aren’t withdrawn for inactivity, so an unused balance keeps its value until you use it. They can’t be transferred between accounts or exchanged for cash outside the terms on this page.
