Your data, handled with care

What we collect, why we collect it, and the control you keep over it. Written to be read, not endured.

Who we are

Encore is operated by New Company 1 (Company No. 000000000), based at New Address 1. For the data we hold about you, we are the data controller.

This notice explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have under applicable data-protection law. Questions go to support@encore.style.

What we collect

  • Account data — your email address, an optional display name, and your hashed password (we never store passwords in plain text).
  • Photos & looks — the full-body photo you upload and the looks encore renders from it, so you can revisit and download them later.
  • Usage data — basic, necessary records such as credit balance and transaction history, plus minimal logs needed to keep the service secure and working.

The photo you upload is your image, which can be personal data. We use it only to render your looks — never to identify you elsewhere, and never for advertising. Card details are handled by our payment partner; we never receive your full card number.

Our lawful basis

We only process your data where the law lets us. In practice that means:

  • Contract — to give you an account, render your looks and manage credits.
  • Legitimate interests — to keep encore secure, prevent abuse and improve the service, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation — to keep records we’re required by law to keep.
  • Consent — for optional analytics cookies, which you can turn down (see our Cookie Policy).

How we use your data

We use your data to:

  • create and run your account and authenticate you securely;
  • render, store and let you download your looks;
  • process credit purchases and keep your balance accurate;
  • send essential service messages (we don’t spam you);
  • keep the service safe and detect misuse.

We never sell your personal data.

Where your data lives

Your account, photos and looks are hosted on secure managed infrastructure. Where a trusted processor (for example our payment partner or AI engine) operates in another country, we rely on appropriate safeguards so your data keeps the same protection.

Your data-protection rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — get a copy of the data we hold about you;
  • Rectify — correct anything that’s wrong;
  • Erase — ask us to delete your account and data;
  • Export — receive your data in a portable format;
  • Object / restrict — object to or limit certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent — for anything based on consent, at any time.

To exercise any of these, email support@encore.style. We aim to respond within one month.

How long we keep it

We keep your account, photos and looks for as long as your account is open. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data — including your uploaded photos — within 30 days, except where we’re legally required to retain limited records (such as proof of a transaction) for longer.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, plus optional analytics cookies you can decline. Full detail — including the cookie names and how to manage them — is in our Cookie Policy.

Contact & complaints
